Cascadia Mission - Portland

UVic Cascadia Partnership and Innovation Mission

The University is hosting a networking cocktail reception for industry, government and academia in support of promoting innovation and economic development in the Cascadia Region. The event is focused on creating opportunities and partnerships in three key areas:

1. Cognitive Health (Neuroscience and Aging)
2. Oceans ( Energy Systems and Early Earthquake/Tsunami Warning)
3. Big Data (Analytics, Mining and Visualization)

The University will be bringing in experts in all of these disciplines, and you will have the opportunity to network with other companies and individuals working in these fields. The goal of the event is to explore partnerships that benefit organizations on both sides of the border and discuss opportunities such as access to talent and expertise.
